A COUGAR admits she gets hate from men her own age because she chooses to date younger.
Influencer Amanda, better known as Dugheed, prefers to enjoy romances with fellas up to 15 years her junior.
The Glaswegian, 43, is fed up with more age appropriate guys and doesn’t think it’s a big deal.
The social media star, who goes by officialdugheed on TikTok, said: “People think I am 10 years younger unless they know me so older guys don’t seem shocked.
“But online I do get hate from guys my own age because they know I wouldn’t be interested.
“I am very young at heart so it’s never strange or weird.
“Men have been doing this for years and there is still a stigma attached to women being independent and enjoying younger male company.
“I settled for five men in the past and spent five years with each and then left so I am just doing me now and I don’t think of forever because we’re not here forever.
“I just live in the moment and like the spontaneous lifestyle.”
Amanda, who recently started an OnlyFans page, added: “Women don’t understand why I want to be single and just date because the stigma says you should be settled by a certain age.
“But I just love men and love dating and love being single.
“I’ve never got the feeling that younger women are jealous I’m dating men their age.
“I’ve had loads of support from women of all different ages on my socials.
“They understand why younger men are better – they are full of energy, high spirited, more keen to be adventurous.”
Meanwhile, a fellow cougar has revealed the unlikely places she finds her cubs.
Patsy Mennuti, 53, dates men many years her junior and prefers it that way.
The life coach, who runs her own business HellaCougar, doesn’t care what people think and has learned the best locations to find toy boys.
She said: “One of things I do like about dating apps is it takes the guessing away from younger men if an older woman is into someone their age.
“And it takes the guessing away from older women if a younger man is into someone their age.
“If you matched, you set the age range. This is perhaps the biggest obstacle for these age gap meetings in real life.
“People don’t know if the other would be receptive to the age gap.”
“Other than the apps, I love to go to clubs with my ‘Cougar’ hat on, and this starts many conversations.
“Similarly, I sell an entire line of merchandise for guys to wear to help conversations start.
“Casinos and resorts are good spots as well as concerts and wine bars.”
Patsy added: “I know one cub that has met tons of women in the grocery store.
“I think the lesser known go to is country line dancing lessons or similar in your region or country. It’s an easy one.”
