A WOMAN has revealed the difficulties she and her partner face in an age gap relationship.
Gabbie met her partner when she was 23 and Anthony was 55 – but the age gap didn’t stop them falling in love.

While the couple are more than happy in their relationship, they admit it hasn’t come without hurdles.
In one clip Gabbie revealed that her parents and Anthony’s children weren’t onboard with their 32-year age gap romance but have since come to terms with it and welcome Anthony into their lives.
However, the same can’t be said for people on social media.
In a clip, the couple addressed the biggest struggle, with Gabbie admitting friends are confused by the relationship and say they didn’t know ‘that side of you.’

She added that they were just like any other couple without an age gap, except financially.
Gabs continued: “He is more financially stable, and he can take care of a lot more.”
However, she revealed it wasn’t transactional and she doesn’t get an allowance.
Anthony joked that he was too cute anyway to pay things.
He added: “I view our partnership as a partnership.
“So if it’s transactional, then I know I’m not treating her as a partner.
“I’m treating her as a transaction.”
The clip was a hit with their viewers on their TikTok account @anthonyandgabs and many took to the comments to praise them.
One person wrote: “People get confused about age gaps, but they are like any other relationships. Age doesn’t mean the older partner is financially set and if she didn’t work and was a house girlfriend, that is OK too.”
Another commented: “Were either of you embarrassed/ashamed (idk the right word) when going public at first? The looks from others or judgement how did you get through it?”
“I feel that each person’s maturity is more important than any age gap. My fiancé’s upbringing matured her early,” penned a third.
