Ice Poseidon gets Ac7ionman banned on Twitch after appearing on stream

Twitch ban message

Ac7ionman has been banned on Twitch after bringing Ice Poseidon on his stream, and now he’s calling for Twitch to unban Ice.

IRL streamer Ice Poseidon was banned from Twitch on April 28, 2017, after the Twitch star was swatted while on an airplane. Since then, it’s been against Twitch’s guidelines to feature Ice Poseidon on any Twitch stream.

“For non-suspended Twitch streamers, you may react to a VOD or a livestream from another service of a suspended user,” it reads.

“But you may not feature them on your stream as a guest (for example, streaming in the same room or using collaboration software to feature a suspended user as a guest, even in an ensemble).”

On August 6, 2024, Ac7ionman featured Ice Poseidon on his Twitch stream and promptly recieved a three day ban from the platform.

“This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service,” his channel reads.

He later responded to the ban and admitted that he knew what he was doing. “I’ll take responsibility and take this ban on the chin like a man,” he said in a post before calling for Twitch to unban Ice Poseidon.

“But it’s time, Twitch. Please unban Ice Poseidon. He and his community are no longer the same they used to be. Please give him a second chance, it’s been 8 years.”

That wasn’t the only streamer that Ac7ionman asked to be unbanned, either. In a follow-up tweet, he called for Twitch to unban Adin Ross, as well.

“People change. Please give everyone a fresh start they deserve it after showing positive changes in behavior,” he remarked.

Twitch CEO Dan Clancy has responded to calls to unban Adin Ross on several occasions, with the latest being a July 26 phone call with FaZe member StableRonaldo.

“Yeah.. yeah. I’m open to chatting with him to see where he’s at. See if he can convince me that he really is different and he’s not just trying to get on to screw with me, you know,” he said.

Twitch revealed that perma-banned streamers can apply for the chance to have their channel reinstated back in October 2023. This is how JiDion was able to get unbanned in May 2024.
