Kick streamer Ice Poseidon claimed he was approached by iDubbbz to fight him in Creator Clash 3, but turned him down because he couldn’t stand the thought of potentially losing.
Charity-focused influencer boxing event Creator Clash is gearing up for its third iteration on June 28, 2025 after a two-year hiatus.
However, the event has already become swamped with drama, in large part due to a ‘Content Cop’ video that organizer iDubbbz made targeting fellow YouTuber Ethan Klein.
In the aftermath that followed, one of the headlining fighters, Harley Morenstein, seemingly pulled out of his match against LA Beast, writing a cryptic tweet that simply read: “I’m not boxing.”
That same day, Ice Poseidon shed some more light on the event’s planning process in a live broadcast, claiming that he was recently approached by iDubbbz to fight on the card.
Ice Poseidon explains why he refuses to fight iDubbbz for Creator Clash 3
More specifically, Poseidon said that iDubbbz wanted to fight him— but the Kick streamer wasn’t keen on this particular matchup.
“I got invited to box iDubbbz in his event,” he began. “But I had to decline that, because if I were to lose to iDubbbz, I would be extremely embarrassed. And I’m not very good at boxing, so I was like, ‘No, I can’t do that.’
“If I lose to him, there’s no coming back from that. ‘Cause he’s a skinny dude. …I have no training at all, and it’s very soon, so I would gas out in five seconds.”
The streamer also theorized that iDubbbz may be “struggling to find people to box him,” confused as to why the YouTuber would give him an offer when they have “nothing to do with each other.”
Poseidon’s comments come in stark contrast to iDubbbz’s previous statements in the days following Creator Clash 3’s announcement, where he revealed that he wouldn’t be boxing due to the sheer amount of stress it would cause him to both participate in and organize the event.
“I’ve sacrificed enough, and it also kind of goes against my theory about influencer boxing. I said it three years ago and I’m saying it again — the more an influencer boxes, the less utility they have.
“The fight for me is more about the event itself. That’s what I’m fighting for. I just want the event to do well. …for now, I really need to focus on the event succeeding and just making money. This sh*t has drained me over the last three years.”

However, if what Poseidon says is true, it would appear that iDubbbz is attempting to add more matches to the card — potentially because of Harley’s alleged exit from Creator Clash 3.
