A WOMAN who lives on a cruise ship has opened up about her life at sea – leaving many open-mouthed.
Christine Kesteloo explained that she and her husband live on a ship for half of the year.

Not only do they not pay any rent, but they get all of their food for free.
And if that wasn’t enough, they also don’t have to clean or cook, and they even get their laundry done for them too.
Opening up about her life on social media, Christine claimed that she started off working for the cruise company in 2011, doing marketing.
Following this, she became an Event Manager, and then changed to be a Cruise Director.
After this, Christine moved on to be the Cruise and Travel Director but unfortunately, lost her job in the pandemic, which encouraged her to start creating content on TikTok.
Her husband Pete, who is a Staff Chief Engineer, has been with the company for 30 years – and as a result, he works three months on the ship and then three months off the ship, with his wife Christine by his side.
Christine explained: “The thing I love most about living on a cruise ship – I don’t clean, I don’t cook, I don’t do my laundry.
“Some people want to hate me right now, but you know what, my house is small. My cabin is small.
“I love not cooking, or pay for groceries or pay for gas. I love not having to clean or hang up laundry. I don’t fold laundry ladies.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @dutchworld_americangirl, has clearly left many totally stunned, as it has amassed over 5,000 likes.
Social media users were eager to know more about Christine and Pete’s lifestyle and many took to the comments to ask for further details.
One person questioned: “Do you get the room for free?”
To this, Christine confirmed and simply penned: “Yes.”
Whilst another asked: “Do you have to pay to cruise?”
In response, Christine claimed: “No. It’s free for me.”
‘BEAUTIFUL LIFE’
At the same time, many TikTok users revealed that they were jealous of Christine’s life on board.
One user said: “I really want that life. I keep telling my husband I’m gonna go work on a cruise ship.”
