A WOMAN has revealed that she has stomach fat, back rolls and her thighs touch – but she knows she’s beautiful.
Miah Carter, who is also known online as ‘your body confidence big sis’, struggled with her weight for years, which encouraged her to make the decision to share her self-love journey online to help inspire other women feel more confident in their own skin.
The 20-year-old body confident babe and plus-size influencer, from Berkshire, has inspired many women to feel great about their bodies, regardless of their shape or size.
But despite Miah’s positive mission, she explained that she is often brutally targeted by online trolls.
In a recent clip shared on social media, Miah opened up about her body shape and encouraged others to love theirs too, as she penned: “Your body is normal and BEAUTIFUL!”
She then added: “No one’s body is perfect!”
In the short video, we saw Miah wearing a pair of pyjamas, as she lifted up her top to show off her stomach.
The body positive influencer then wrote: “I have stomach fat”.
Seconds later, she pulled down her pyjamas bottoms, putting her belly on display, as she beamed: “Me too!”
She then turned to the side as she penned: “I have back rolls.”
Proudly lifting up her top, the content creator then danced around as she admitted: “Me too!”
Not only this, but Miah then gave her followers a look at her legs, as she wrote: “My thighs touch when I stand.”
Following this, she then shook her thighs and shared: “Me too!”
Miah then came up close to the camera, as she penned: “I have textured skin.”
As she smiled for her followers, she concluded: “Me too!”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @miahhcarter, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 89,500 in just five days.
But social media users were divided by the short video – while some were keen to compliment the ‘relatable’ woman, not everyone was as kind.
One person said: “You’re so beautiful.”
Another added: “I just love how [relatable] you are. You make real women feel heard!! Thank you for doing that for us.”
A third commented: “You go darling, you’re gorgeous.”
However, not everyone was as positive, as one troll penned: “Being unhealthy should not be a beauty standard.”
At the same time, someone else wrote: “That’s not normal, you better change to a healthy lifestyle.”
Whilst another rudely claimed: “Increased risk of heart attack, stroke, diabetes etc, she says me too.”
But this isn’t the first time we’ve seen Miah.
Previously, the self-proclaimed ‘big sis’, responded to hate comments about her fashion sense.
Miah revealed that nasty trolls said that “crop tops are for skinny people, not fat people.”
However, Miah then proudly rocked a crop top, showing off her stomach, as she confirmed: “Crop tops are for everyone, not just smaller sizes. Everyone slays.”
Not only this, but Miah also clapped back at trolls when they accused her of being ‘built like an emoji’.
Miah shared some of the rude comments she has received from keyboard warriors, including “your skin is disgusting”, “bring back bullying” and “cause of death: Obesity.”
In response to the cruel comments, Miah clapped back and said: “Today’s society is absolutely disheartening and disgusting, that’s why I love the job that I do to inspire young kids and everyone to be honest to love themselves no matter what skin type, what disability, what size, what age, to love yourself.
“Society nowadays expects you to look a certain way, not on my page.
“On my page, everyone is welcome. Any size, any gender, any age, anyone.
“If you wanna be part of the family, follow to join.
“Don’t listen to what anyone has to say – you are beautiful.”
