A MAN has claimed he grew up on a council estate but now has turned his finances around and is CEO of a social media company.
Connor Logan, from Hull, always had a dream to work for himself and escape the ‘nine to five lifestyle’, and he’s now achieved his goal by setting up his own business.
The entrepreneur is the CEO of BeeSocial, an agency dedicated to helping creators on TikTok Live, which is a feature that allows users interact with viewers in real-time.
Connor claims his business helps aspiring influencers to “monetise skills and grow their social media presence.”
And he attributes TikTok Live for his own financial success.
Speaking to his followers, he revealed: “I grew up on a council estate, my mum had to borrow milk & sugar from the neighbours because we had no money.
“Now I am on a mission to retire my parents so they can live a more comfortable life.
“I am proud to be the CEO & Founder of the UK’s leading TikTok Live Agency, we are changing the lives of hundreds of influencers everyday.
“I wasn’t given anything in life, I have had to work extremely hard and sacrifice a lot of things to build the UK’s leading TikTok Live Agency.”
Connor’s business currently has three employees, including himself as Director, a Creator Manager and a Deputy Manager/Co-Owner.
His personal account, @its.connor.logan, currently has 62,000 followers and has given him the experience needed to help others.
He explained: “Live-streaming became my whole life, I did it full time for nearly 2 years, I learnt a lot about how to grow as a Live-streamer and build a community online and now I help others do the same everyday and that is an incredible feeling.”
Many people have been hugely inspired by his story, with one saying: “You give me so much motivation.”
Another added: “I’m defo interested in doing what you’re doing mate. I find you very inspirational.”
And a third commented: “You’re so inspiring.”
Going live on TikTok is pretty simple.
I grew up on a council estate, my mum had to borrow milk & sugar from the neighbours because we had no money.

However, you will need a minimum number of followers, as well as being aged 16 or over.
(You can still have an account from the age of 13 though.)
Once you’re set on that front, all you need to do is tap the main + button at the bottom of your screen.
You’ll see a Live option available.
What is TikTok Live?
A TikTok live is when a content creator starts a live streaming video of what they are doing or talk to users online.
Anyone who is 16-years-old and over can launch a TikTok live while those who are over 18-years-old can send and receive gifts during a live.
People give gifts during a live to show appreciation for your content and they can also reward you in Diamonds.
Diamonds can then be redeemed for money with TikTok.
If you have a private account, you can still hold a live and it’ll be streamed only to those users who follow you.
This feature also helps you to approve who follows you, views your content, your bio, likes your content and view your followers and following lists.
Regardless of what type of TikTok account that you have, you can always adjust your audience limit for your videos through the Privacy Settings.
Give your stream a title – this is important if you want to get traffic from searches and tags.
And when you’re all good to go, hit Go LIVE.
Sadly, not everyone can do lives on TikTok.
The app requires a minimum of 1,000 followers, so newcomers will need to build up their audience a bit.
