Hugh Jackman is responding to a report that he’s planning on moving out of New York City.
The 54-year-old actor and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness, 67, have lived in the Big Apple for years and report in Women’s Day claimed that they were going to move back home to Australia.
“Almost everything that didn’t go to the smaller apartment is being shipped to Oz,” the insider said. “They’re serious about moving Down Under one day and this was the perfect opportunity to start sending things back. Having a smaller place has freed up money to invest in their eventual base in Australia as well, so they’re excited about taking steps towards their Aussie dream.”

Hugh took to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday (November 29) and wrote, “STOP THE MADNESS!!! Yes, we moved. To a new apartment. IN NEW YORK CITY. Stories to the contrary are UNTRUE.”
There you have it! The Jackman family did move, but they’re staying in the city that never sleeps.
