How to see who follows you on Snapchat

Many Snapchat users often wonder how they can view who follows them on the platform. Here’s a quick guide to help you.

On Snapchat, ‘following’ refers to users who have added you as a friend and can view the content you share on your Story. Followers are essentially your Snapchat friends, as the app is designed for mutual interaction.

Many Snapchat users are curious about who follows them but may not know how to check. Unlike platforms like Instagram, Snapchat doesn’t offer a direct “followers list.” However, there are a few ways to identify your followers and gain insights about your audience.

How to see your followers on Snapchat

One way to determine your followers is by looking at who views your public Story:

  1. Post a public Story on your profile.
  2. Open your Story to view who watched it.
  3. Scroll through the viewers. Beyond the friends listed, you’ll see followers who aren’t mutual friends.

Your Friends List also provides clues about your followers. To check:

  1. Go to your profile and tap My Friends.
  2. Scroll through the list to view names and Bitmojis.
  3. People who have added you back are both your followers and friends.

How to see your follower count on Snapchat

To see how many people follow you on Snapchat, access your Audience Insights through your public profile:

  1. Tap your Bitmoji.
  2. Scroll down to My Public Profile and select it.
  3. Your follower count will be shown here, along with audience demographics like gender and age breakdown (if you have over 200 followers).

It’s worth noting that Snapchat’s design prioritizes privacy, so it doesn’t offer an explicit list of non-mutual followers. However, by checking your Story views and managing your Friends List, you can piece together a clearer picture of who follows you on the app.
