SARA DAVIES is perhaps best known for her role on the BBC’s Dragon’s Den but the star has also had a hugely successful career outside the show.
The business woman, who took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2021, has built up an impressive fortune over the years.

Sara Davies MBE is an entrepreneur and television personality.
She as born on April 23, 1984 in Coundoun, County Durham.
Sara founded her craft supplier company, Crafter’s Companion, in 2005 whilst she was still at university.
Her big break came when she designed and marketed her ground-breaking product The Enveloper, selling over 8,000 in the first 24 of hours of the product being debuted on shopping channel Ideal World.
When Sara graduated with her first-class honours degree, she already had a business with a turnover of over half a million pounds.
Crafter’s Companion is a leading company internationally and ships to over 40 countries worldwide including in Asia, South Africa, North and South America, Europe, and Australia.
The company also employs over 200 people across the world.
Sara has been rewarded for her contributions to the industry.
She has received as many as 25 business accolades so far, as well as an MBE from Prince William for services to the economy in 2016.

When did Sara join Dragons’ Den?
Sara joined Dragons’ Den in 2019, replacing Jenny Campbell on for the seventeenth series.
At the time, the star said: “I’ve always been very passionate about investing time in and sharing my expertise with other entrepreneurs.
“And hopefully I’ll be able to help some of the contestants to really take their businesses to the next level.”
Davies was the show’s youngest ever female investor to join the panel.
Is Sara married?
Sara is married to her husband Simon Davies.
The two first met as teenagers and wed in September 2007.
Simon is a co-founder of Crafter’s Companion, the company Sara began building while she was studying at the University of York.
Sara and her husband share two children named Oliver and Charlie.
The family live together in a mansion in Teesside, in North East England.
Sara has spoken out about her and her husband’s parenting in the past, admitting that they have differing views on how to share their wealth with their kids.
Speaking on Loose Women, the star revealed: “My husband Simon wants to give the kids the things we could not have – but I want them to have the experiences we did have.”

Sara was a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing in 2021 and was paired with Aljaž Škorjanec. but unfortunately they didn’t make it through to the final.
The duo were the seventh pairing to be eliminated from the show, unfortunately missing out on a spot in the final.
Sara has also starred in Ultimate Wedding Planner alongside Fred Sirieix and wedding industry expert Raj Somaiya.
The BBC Two show follows the trio as they help eight wedding planners battle it out to prove they can design the most spectacular wedding ceremonies for six couples.

Dragons’ Den returned for its 21st series in January 2024.
The newest series, which was filmed in Manchester, airs Thursday evenings at 8pm.
