The celebration of Premio Lo Nuestro is just hours away! The 37th edition promises a night filled with celebrities and music that will get everyone dancing. The event takes place on February 20 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, with a show hosted by Laura Pausini, Thalía, and Alejandra Espinoza. Under the theme “Uniting Generations,” they will take us on a musical journey honoring songs that connect Latin rhythm’s past, present, and future.
This edition includes 44 categories, with Becky G and Carín León leading the nominations list with 10 each. Shakira and Mike Towers follow closely with nine, while Emilia, Ángela Aguilar, Grupo Frontera, and Leonardo Aguilar each have eight nominations.
Where and How to Watch Premio Lo Nuestro
Before the awards ceremony, stars will walk the famous magenta carpet. From there, Claudia Martín, Francisca, Jomari Goyso, Nadia Ferreira, and Raúl de Molina will bring us all the details of celebrity looks and other exclusive moments during the Night of Stars. The pre-show will feature the first musical performances by Mari La Carajita, DND, Manny Cruz, and Aramis Camilo.
The pre-show and carpet event start at 7 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. CT and are available on Univision, UNIMÁS, and Galavisión. You can stream them on ViX. Honoring Musical Excellence
As is tradition, special awards will be given to those who have made a significant mark on the music world. Alejandro Fernández will be honored with the “Premio Lo Nuestro a la Excelencia.” Celebrating four decades of her career, La India will receive the “Premio Lo Nuestro a la Trayectoria.” Composer Manuel Alejandro will be the first recipient of the “Premio Visionario de lo Nuestro,” created to honor a leader who has significantly impacted the entertainment industry.
