The iconic house from original Home Alone movie is for sale.
Located outside Chicago in Winnetka, Illinois, the house and its famous features have been listed for a whopping $5.25 million (a few million more than the other houses on the block). But if you’re a fan, you’ll certainly get what you paid for — not only have elements like the front stairway and outer brick facing been saved, but the home has been fully renovated and expanded.
Sitting on a half-acre, the house now has a sleek white-and-gray aesthetic, and includes features like an indoor basketball court, a poker room, and a movie theater, complete with a Home Alone poster and Lego statue of Macaulay Culkin in the classic hands-on-his-cheeks pose, of course.

Previously, the house sold for $1.58 million in 2012. In 2021, the owners made it briefly available through Airbnb, fully outfitted with booby traps, hijinks, and a Lego model of the home.
Last year, Culkin recently reunited with his on-screen mom, Catherine O’Hara, who delivered a speech at the unveiling of his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
