Hilary Duff's Husband Claps Back At Critic Of Her Looks

If you keep up with Hilary Duff and her husband, Matthew Koma, you’ll know that they’re pretty active on social media — namely when it comes to replying to comments.

The couple tied the knot back in 2019, and share three young daughters: Banks, Mae, and Townes. Duff also has a son named Luca, whom she welcomed with her now-ex-husband, Mike Comrie, in 2012.

Well, this week, Koma did not hold back as he defended Duff against a cruel Instagram comment about her appearance.

Duff, 37, shared a series of stunning, close-up photos of herself on Tuesday. While most of the comments underneath were complimentary, one person wrote, “Why did she do Botox, I swear to god everyone else is the same.”

This comment led to a heap of speculation around what cosmetic work Duff has or hasn’t had done. One person said, “but it actually looks good on her. She didn’t over kill it,” while another theorized, “its cheek filler not botox.”

Before long, Koma hopped into the comments section to defend his wife. He replied to the original commenter, whose username included the word “butterfly”: “get fckd butterfly.”

Loads of fans praised the musician for defending Duff against the comment. One person said, “Good for him for sticking up for the mother of his children. People are wayyy too invasive and controlling over celebrities and their appearances,” while another wrote, “He seems like a good husband, and he’s hilarious.”

“showing everyone how great husbands stick up for their wives,” one more user said.

Moral of the story: Don’t make unprovoked, critical comments about people’s appearances!
