The 35-year-old 9-time All-NBA selection with the Golden State Warriors sent social media into a frenzy following All-Star weekend.

During the weekend, Curry was a part of the first-ever crossover edition with the WNBA as he battled New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu in a three-point shooting contest — defeating her in a close battle.

The All-Star game on Sunday was heavily criticized for the lack of defense and players jacking up three players no-stop throughout the entire game.

It was 168 three-pointers taken during the All-Star contest, and fans have jokingly blamed Curry over the years for influencing people to take so many long-range shots.

However, Curry was prepared and had a response ready to fire at NBA fans who believed he has hurt the game.

Curry recently updated his social media bio to a hilarious line that slams all the hate he receives from fans.

“Did not, in fact, ruin basketball,” read Curry’s new TikTok bio.

NBA fans rushed to social media with reactions to Curry’s update, with many expressing he ‘did not disappoint” with this statement.

“He’s the Mahomes of the nba,” this fan stated.

“Only thing he ruined was fans hope for their teams to win chips,” another joked.

“Naw, he did. I remember one time in pickup basketball, I had an easy layup. But I decided to take the 3 and air-balled, and we went on to lose the game,” a third shared.

“He ruined the NBA, and he knows it,” a fourth felt.

“He made it better and inspired a generation of people to work hard for their spot,” a fifth expressed.

Golden State is 27-26 on the season as they come out of the NBA’s All-Star break.

Curry is having another stellar season despite the record, averaging 28 points, 4.4 rebounds, and five assists.
