Here's how she surprised her fans after leaving the country

Shakira had planned to perform in Chile on March 2 and 3, but she was forced to cancel her shows due to “circumstances beyond” her and the production team’s control. The singer shared a lengthy message addressing the situation, and while she did not reveal when she would finally be able to perform in Chile, she gave her fans a special gift before boarding her flight. What did she do? She stepped out of her hotel, set up an impromptu street performance, and played live for the fans waiting outside.

After canceling her two scheduled shows in Chile, Shakira sought a way to make it up to the fans who had tickets. Though it wasn’t the same as performing at the stadium, she found a way to connect with her audience. Outside the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in the Las Condes neighborhood, an improvised stage was set up with a sound system and a microphone. The singer sat on a stool alongside her musicians and delivered a mini-performance.

The area was enclosed with a barrier, but Shakira soon approached the fans, shaking hands with those cheering and recording her on their phones. Later, they shared their videos on social media. “I will return to Chile with many more concerts. But for now, I at least wanted to sing this for you,” Shakira told the crowd. Once the sound setup was ready, she performed her hit song “Antología.”

The audience was overwhelmed with excitement. Despite the disappointment of the canceled shows, those who gathered at the venue cherished the moment, sang along with her, and showed their support despite the setbacks. According to Meganoticias’ broadcast, the singer only performed that one song before waving to her fans and heading back into the hotel.

And let’s talk about those outfits because Shakira didn’t just perform; she served looks.

She kicked off the show in a custom white and silver Versace ensemble, shimmering under the stage lights as she belted out “La Fuerte.” Throughout the night, she cycled through 13 different outfits, each more breathtaking than the last. Zuhair Murad, Gaurav Gupta, and Jawara Alleyne all had their designs on display, perfectly complementing her signature mix of sensuality, power, and effortlessly cool energy.

As always, Shakira didn’t just rely on visuals. Her setlist was packed with hits, blending nostalgia with her latest bangers. The crowd danced and sang at the top of their lungs, proving why she remains one of the most beloved artists in the world.
