If you’re currently slaving through a dead-end 9-5 job that you hate, then maybe now is the time to leave this article. Otherwise, you’ll be forced to learn that “Hawk Tuah Girl” Haliey Welch racked up over $30,000 in appearance fees over July 4 weekend.
According to reports from the Welch “booked an appearance at the iconic Memory Motel’s pop-up in New York — along with two other area spots — for more than $30,000.”
“On Saturday, July 13th, she will be hosting a daytime event at the famed Memory Motel’s East Village location with tickets going between $45 and $55 a pop. We hear she’ll be taking pictures with fans and autographing Memory merch. She’ll also be stopping by the Ugly Duckling in Long Beach, and Bull Smith’s Tavern in Smithtown.” [via New York Post]
In addition to the appearance fees, it was reported in late June that Welch had sold over $65,000 in merch, a number that has surely grown since being reported.
Last week, it was reported that Welch had officially landed representation, as she signed with both the management firm Penthouse and Nashville-based entertainment lawyer Christian Barker of Christian Barker & Co. for representation.
“Please don’t wake me. Two weeks ago it was just my Granny and me in itty bitty Belfast, Tennessee. Then I say something silly and now my life has changed. Isn’t God great?! Can’t wait for what’s ahead,” Welch said in a statement.
Since then, she has launched official social media accounts and has racked up over 930,000 followers on TikTok (at the time of this writing on July 8) and over 1 million followers on Instagram.
