However, a royal expert has suggested they’re “running out of time” to actualize that goal and are now “irrelevant” to the senior royal family members.
This comes amid claims that Prince Harry is looking for a permanent home in the UK, with plans for him and Meghan Markle to split their time between there and the US.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Are Allegedly ‘Running Out Of Time’ To Rejoin The Royal Family
In a recent appearance on the Daily Mail’s podcast, “Palace Confidential,” royal expert Richard Eden claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex might have lost their chance to fix their broken relationship with the Royal family.
Eden assessed Harry and Meghan’s chances of returning to the monarchy, declaring that they’re now “irrelevant” to the remaining royal family members, particularly Harry, for whom he suggested, “time is running out to come back while his father is still King.”
The royal expert went further to claim that Harry was “central” to royal plans before he and Meghan quit their roles as working members of the royal family and relocated abroad.

“We saw that at Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012 where it was just Harry and his brother, Camilla, and Charles and, of course, the queen,” he explained, adding, “Charles thought that when Harry had a family, they would be carrying out engagements and sharing those duties with William so, I think time is running out.”
“If Harry wants to come back at any stage, he needs to do it while his father is still King,” Eden shared.

Prince William Allegedly Would Not Want Prince Harry Back When He Becomes King
The royal expert Eden further suggested that Harry is more likely to return to the royal family with his father’s blessings than his estranged brother, Prince William.
The warring brothers have not been on speaking terms for a long time, and their relationship continues to deteriorate.
“I really think that when Prince William is King, I can’t see him letting Harry come back and have a role again,” Eden remarked.
“They are irrelevant now, they are just not wanted as part of the monarchy,” he continued, adding, “Maybe there could be some radical change but it’s hard to see.”

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Reached Out To Kate Middleton
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex continue to move towards mending their broken relationship with the Waleses as they reportedly reached out to Kate before her return to the public eye at the recently held Trooping the Colour event.
A source close to the pair told Closer magazine they “have been following Kate’s recovery with huge interest, but sadly, it’s had to be more from afar because their lines of communication with the palace and the Waleses, in particular, are very limited, to say the least.”
The insider continued, “They have had enough information to know that people are excited about the idea of a comeback for Kate and they’re both relieved and happy to hear that she’s on the mend and may soon be well enough to return to her duties.”

“They’ve jointly reached out to send well wishes, but they’re still not really in a place with Kate to warrant much of a response,” the source shared, adding that this “hasn’t stopped them from trying to connect.”
“When Kate gets back into action, their hope is that it might take some of the heat off them and possibly trigger a truce with her and William, and with the King, too,” they added.
King Charles Allegedly Wants Prince Harry To Sort Out The ‘Meghan Problem’
Royal expert Tom Quinn recently told the Mirror that King Charles has been pressuring the Duke to reunite with his brother and “neatly get around the problem of Meghan.”
Quinn stated that Charles has been pushing for Harry to secure a UK home so that he can spend more time with his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. This could eventually open the way for Harry and William to reunite.
“King Charles has been putting pressure on Harry to do just this as he is angry that his only relationship with his grandchildren so far is via video calls, which Charles hates,” Quinn shared. “William and Kate’s children would spend the weekend at Highgrove and Harry’s children could then easily pop over from their house nearby.”

“This would neatly get round the problem of Meghan – she just wouldn’t need to be there and the children could be whisked back to the States after a week or two,” he added.
Is It Too Late To Fix Things?
Amid rumors of a potential reconciliation, former royal butler Grant Harrold told the New York Post that he believes it’s “too late” for the royal family to fix their broken relationship.
“I’ve always thought that Harry would have wanted to reach out to his family, whether it’s too late for that I don’t know,” he said.
“Maybe there’s too much water under the bridge now. A lot of time has passed, and trust has been broken. Can that be repaired? Time will tell,” Harrold continued.
“Actions speak louder than words,” the former royal butler noted.
