Fresh from her triumphant Download Festival set, Harper has unveiled her rip-roaring new single ‘Bird In A Cage’.
Becoming the festival’s youngest ever performer whilst simultaneously playing her first ever live show, over two years since her iconic cover of Spiritbox’s ‘Holy Roller’, Harper’s musical journey is well underway.
Co-written by the 12-year-old artist alongside Brand Of Sacrifice‘s Leo Valeri and Acres‘ Ben Lumber, ‘Bird In A Cage’ follows the release of the blistering ‘I Hope You Choke’ earlier this year.

Speaking on ‘Bird In A Cage’, Harper has shared:
“‘Bird In A Cage’ was written about feeling trapped and alone and being let down by the people who are close to you. This song is different to any song I’ve done before and I really wanted to show I can do more than just scream. It’s possibly my favourite song I’ve done to date! “
