Hannah Waddingham dressed down a member of the paparazzi who asked the Ted Lasso actor to show “a bit of leg” while posing for photos at the Oliver Awards in London on Sunday.
“Oh my god, you’d never say that to a man, my friend. Don’t be a dick, otherwise I’ll move off. Don’t say, ‘Show me leg.’ No,” Waddington could be heard telling the photographer. She then walked away, as other photographers and on-lookers cheered her on.
Waddingham was on hand to serve as host of the Oliver Awards, which honor best in UK theater.
Following her breakout role on Apple TV+’s Ted Lasso, Waddingham is next set to appear opposite Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt in The Fall Guy, and also has a role in the upcoming Mission Impossible film.
long story short: hannah was being her gorgeous self and the 📸 made some comment about her leg we couldn’t quite make out and… well, the video speaks for itself. This woman is a role model. Always, always call pricks out on their bullshit. https://t.co/TUPwdqEYo2 pic.twitter.com/ybhxCo5FJ6
