Pop star Halsey and Evanescence singer Amy Lee gave their recently released single “Hand That Feeds” its live debut on Wednesday night (May 14th) at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
The onstage collab wasn’t a total surprise, given that Evanescence provided direct support for Halsey at the concert, marking a one-off appearance by Amy Lee and company on Halsey’s recently launched “For My Last Trick” North American tour.
Halsey started off the song, singing the initial verses, and then a loud roar erupted from the crowd as Lee walked out onstage to join in on the chorus. Lee then took on the second verse, before the pair duetted on the rest of the tune. At the end of the song, an excited Halsey, who has called Lee one of her musical heroes, rushed to embrace the Evanescence vocalist, telling the audience, “Please give it up for Amy Fuckin’ Lee.”
