OSCARS fans were taken aback when Halle Berry ran up to Adrien Brody and kissed him in front of his girlfriend.
Admitting she had waited more than 21 years, Halle, 58, said “Sorry Georgina [Chapman], but i gotta do it” as she ran up to Adrien, 51, and smooched him on the red carpet in front of his girlfriend.

Back in 2003 at the Academy Awards, the pair famously smooched on stage.
More than two decades ago, Halle presented Adrien with the Best Actor gong for his performance in The Pianist.
When Adrien took to the stage to accept the award, he embraced Halle and gave her a huge kiss.
“I bet they didn’t tell you that was in the gift bag,” he said to her after the kiss.
And now Halle has gotten “pay back” for their now-infamous kiss all those years ago.
Running up to him at this year’s ceremony on the red carpet, Halle kissed Adrien before saying how she wanted to “pay him back” – even though it was in front of his woman.
“That was one hell of a night for him, and for me as well. To be a part of his moment… tonight I had to pay him back,” Halle said to Variety after the shocking moment.
“I’ve seen him out at parties, but this is the first time since that night that I’ve seen him on the red carpet somewhere.
“He’s nominated this year. He deserved that,” she added.
FANS FUME OVER SMOOCH
Reacting to the red carpet smooch, one person said: “AND SHE IS COOL WITH THIS??? my gosh.”
Another added: “This is soooo weird.”
“He didn’t even push Halle away when she kissed him, completely disrespecting his wife,” said a third.
A fourth added: “Doing this in front of your wife is actually wild.”
While a fifth penned: “Incredibly disrespectful. There’s nothing that can be said to make it acceptable.”

And a sixth said: “It’s a disrespect to kiss another women front of your wife, shame on him. Trust is key in any relationship. Boundaries should never be crossed. This is just sad…”
CHEWING GUM INCIDENT
This comes after Adrien shocked onlookers when he headed up on stage to give his acceptance speech after winning Best Actor.
As he got up out of his seat and made his way to the steps, he removed some chewing gum from his mouth before doing something with it that nobody saw coming.
Turning around to face is girlfriend Georgina, Adrien threw his gum at her.

Georgina, 48, who is Harvey Weinstein‘s ex wife, caught the gum in her hands before watching her boyfriend accept his trophy.
Fans were totally taken aback as they tuned into the 97th Academy Awards.
Reacting on X, one person said: “Adrien Brody THROWING his gum at Georgina Chapman while on the stairs to accept his award I honestly more shocking to me than Will Smith slapping Chris Rock.”
