HALLE Berry has posed in a sheer dress for a new interview, in which the actress opens up about getting older and feeling empowered.
The 58-year-old actress, who is known for starring in the likes of Cat Woman and Monster’s Ball, first began her career as a model, with her also taking part in several beauty contests.
Halle even placed as the first runner-up in the Miss USA pageant and came in sixth in the Miss World 1986.
Speaking in a new interview, Halle spoke about her appearance, saying how she has “always known that I’ve been more than this face and more than this body”, reflecting on her beauty.
“So when that starts to go, maybe for the first time in my life, people will focus on the other aspects of me that I think are way more interesting,” she recently told Marie Claire in a candid chat.
Touching on aging, Halle spoke about how she is now usually one of the oldest person in every room she walks into, adding, “and that’s a good feeling.”

“I don’t have to be the dancing bear,” she added.
“I don’t have to worry about appeasing everybody in the room, or care about everybody else’s egos, or their insecurities.
“Or give them what they’re wanting from me if it’s not what I’m wanting to give them.
“My daughter says, ‘don’t ask mom, because she’s got no f**ks to give. Don’t ask her unless you want the answer for real’,” Halle added.
The model and actress also affirmed that she believes “age is just a number that they stick on us at birth”, noting how women tend to get defined by their age more than men do.
She noted that age can sometimes “debilitate” women, urging other women to “kick that in the face and say, ‘No, I’m going to do what I can do as long as I feel good doing it!’
“And that will be whatever I want it to be. I get to define that,” she went on.
FRONT PAGE BEAUTY
In the snaps for the Marie Claire shoot, Halle looked sensational in an array of outfits.
For the front cover she wore an ornate and abstract white cage-like top, while for other snaps she donned a completely sheer dress which almost bared all.
Halle also rocked an olive green colored frock for some of the snaps, with her draped on a sofa for some of the photos, displaying her endlessly long legs.

NEW MOVIE, NEW HAIR
This comes after Halle’s latest film hit screens last month, The Union.
The new movie, which came out in August tells the story of a construction worker (Mark Wahlberg) who is thrust into the world of espionage after his high school sweetheart Roxanne (Halle Berry) recruits him for a mission.
For the role, Halle had to make a major change to her appearance.
Cutting her hair and bleaching sections of it blond, Halle revealed the new look at the film’s premiere when she showed off the new hairdo.
After posing up a storm on the red carpet, she also uploaded them to her Instagram account.
Halle showed off her half-shaven head, which kept some of her dark brown and blond locks.
“Want to know how I got my Roxanne haircut for #TheUnion?” she asked in the caption of the snap.
“That face with those cheekbones and that perfect structure is rocking that cut,” swooned one person at the time.
While another added, “You look great in whatever haircut you wear.”
