Gov’t Mule has announced a new series of live dates. Dubbed Back In The Saddle, the tour comes amid the band’s 30th anniversary of their self-titled 1995 debut LP, and serves as the first “big tour run” since February 2024. On the road, the quartet will perform in 18 cities, with their first newly unveiled appearance arriving on August 27 at the Aurora Pavilion in Milwaukee, Wis.

Midwest concerts will ensue with the band’s next newly added date, August 28, at KEMBA Live! Outdoors in Columbus, Ohio. They’ll take part in a previously announced festival appearance at Peoria Blues and Heritage Music Festival, before a pair of fresh concerts additions: August 31 at Warner Vineyards in Paw Paw, Mich., and September 1 at Buffalo, N.Y.’s Outer Harbor Live at Terminal B.

Following their time in Buffalo, the band will commence their already-announced co-headlining concerts with Tedeschi Trucks Band, which stretch from September 3-10. During that period, Warren Haynes and company, Matt Abts [drums], Danny Louis [keyboards, guitar, and backing vocals], and Kevin Scott [bass], will veer off for one night, September 7, at Bowl In the Pines in Sidney, Maine.

After capping their time with TTB and subsequent September dates, Gov’t Mule will proceed with an extensive stretch of concerts slated for parts of the South and East Coast throughout the month of October. Their final appearance is slated for October 28 at the Santander Performing Arts Center in Redding, Pa.

Speaking to their milestone 30th anniversary and subsequent tour, Haynes commented, “How has it been 30 years since Gov’t Mule’s first album came out? It’s kinda crazy to believe – time really does fly when you’re doing what you love!”

“It’s also hard to believe that it’s been over a year since the last Mule tour. Matt, Danny, Kevin and I are chomping at the bit to be back out there celebrating this monumental anniversary with our amazing fans,” he concluded.

Gov’t Mule’s new tour dates arrive after the success of Haynes’ fourth solo LP, Million Voices Whisper, and the band’s own, Peace…Like A River, and comes on the heels of their recently unveiled destination concert vacation details for Island Exodus 16.

The public on-sale for concert tickets will commence on Friday, June 20, at 10 am local time, at www.mule.net.
