FANS have slammed a tacky detail about the Golden Bachelor wedding special between stars Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist.
On Thursday, The Golden Bachelor stars tied the knot in a live ceremony.
During the installment, before the ceremony, Theresa, 70, received a gift from fan-favorite contestant Susan Noles – whom viewers compared to Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner, 68.
Susan – who wore a bright pink suit – said: “We’re very excited for you to have it.
“It’s from your Amazon wedding registry. And we might be able to use it today!”
After tearing off the wrapping paper, Gerry‘s now-wife opened the box from Amazon and gushed over the crystal-clear champagne glasses.
The Golden Bachelor account took to Instagram and shared the scene, along with the link to the wedding registry.
The caption stated: “Join Gerry and Theresa’s celebration of love and life’s special moments!
“Then shop items inspired by The Golden Wedding registry now on Amazon.”
THE BACKLASH
In the comments section, viewers mocked how they were “watching a commercial” and hoped for Theresa to hold a private wedding “without cameras everywhere.”

One upset viewer said, “What in the Amazon marketing/product placement is this?? Not even subtle now. Lots of laughs.”
Another upset viewer added, “It’s more-so an ad for Amazon telling people to shop (for themselves) the items on their registry.”
Another viewer mentioned, “A commercial for Amazon? Or getting gifts? Tacky.”
A fourth person wrote, “As if these folks at their big ages need money to start out and buy glassware.
“If this were real life and not a blatant Amazon ad, this would be called out for being a tacky, obvious gift grab.”
A commentator chimed: “Ugh so corny. I hope Theresa and Gerry hold another wedding. This time, without all the ads.”
THE PROPOSAL
This is not the only moment fans ranted about during Theresa and Gerry’s wedding event.
During the program, host Jesse Palmer, 45, interviewed various cast members from past Bachelor seasons – including Brayden Bowers, 25, who first appeared on The Bachelorette.
During the interview, Brayden mentioned he would move all the way to Tennessee to live with his new partner, Christina Mandrell.
Then, he proposed and said: “For the first time in my life I feel like I found someone that I can be myself with unapologetically.”
Christina shed a few tears before she said, “Yes.”
THE COMMENTS
Critics slammed the couple for stealing the show from Gerry and Theresa, especially on their wedding day.
One angry fan yelled, “You don’t propose at another man’s wedding!”
Another angry fan ranted, “Please not Brayden proposing to Christina at this wedding?!!! How rude!!!”
A commentator wrote: “I hate people who ask to marry others at someone’s wedding!!!”
“Of course, Brayden has to steal the moment and propose to Christina!!!”
