The singers, stunners, and songwriters showed out for Femme It Forward’s 3rd Annual Give Her FlowHERS Awards Gala with honorees like GloRilla, Doechii, Jill Scott, and host Saweetie. Other honorees included Chloe and Halle Bailey, Snoop Dogg and Shante Broadus, Lady London, and Nija.
Is it hot in here or is it just the guest list?
On Friday, the Give Her FlowHERS Awards brought out the biggest names and brightest rising stars in the music industry to The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA. LiveNation joined Femme It Forward’s president Heather Lowery in presenting the event. The gala literally gave these game-changing women their flowers with beautiful bouquets.
The host organization, founded in 2019, is a “the multi-format music and entertainment company dedicated to celebrating, educating, mentoring, and empowering women of color.” MC Lyte announced the ceremony, which featured performances from Tanerelle, Amaria, Zyah Belle, and Jai’Len Josey.

The Star-Studded Femme It Forward 3rd Annual Give Her FlowHERS Awards Gala
Saweetie was the host with the most, receiving the Give Her FlowHERS Award. The honor recognized her for embodying “empowerment, resilience, and cultural influence, inspiring women to embrace their strength and confidently define their success.”
Andra Day presented Chloe & Halle Bailey with The My Sister’s Keeper Award for how they embody and “define the spirit of sisterhood.” We all know this dynamic duo doesn’t play about standing up for each other.
LisaRaye McCoy-Misick presented GloRilla with The Big Femme Energy Award for her epic influence on the music of this generation. The Grammys clearly felt the energy with two new nominations.
Doechii accepted The Visionary Award from her mom Celesia Moore for “her fearless creativity and vision for shaping the future of women in music. The fierce Florida native stays winning with critical acclaim and leading the rap divas in Grammy nominations with Alligator Bites Never Heal and “Alter Ego” ft. JT and Kaytranada.
We love to see the rap baddies link up!
Nija received The Pen It Forward Award as a “trailblazing hitmaker known for their ‘pen game.’” She’s the brilliant mind behind hits like Cardi B’s “Ring,” The Carters’ “LoveHappy,” and Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s “Rain On Me.”
Lady London accepted The Self-Love Award as “an inspirational mom and artist who embodies self-love and confidence.”
Snoop Dogg & Shante Broadus accepted The Black Love Award for the couple’s long-time love and their impact on the culture.
MVD, Inc. co-founder Miatta Johnson was honored for her work as the gala’s co-executive producer and for encouraging new talent in the music industry.
None of this would be possible without Femme It Forward’s founder, Heather Lowery.
Congratulations to the deserving honorees!
