For several years, Gisele Bundchen, once the highest paid model in the world (she was earning $128,000 a day at one point), appeared to have all but retired from the fashion game.
Back in 2015 at the age of 34, Bundchen did officially announce that she was officially retired from walking the runway.
Gisele said at the time, “my body tells me if what I do is worth it, and it asked to stop.”
In 2017, for the first time since 2002, Gisele Bundchen did not top the Forbes Highest Paid Models List. (She fell to second place after earning only $17.5 million, well behind the $22 million Kendall Jenner earned that year.)
However, since announcing her divorce from her husband Tom Brady after 13 years of marriage, the now 42-year-old Bundchen has been all over the place doing one fashion campaign after another. She even appeared on the cover of Vogue Italia last month.
Gisele’s latest work was released on Thursday as Italian fashion brand Arezzo released a new video of the supermodel wearing an assortment of figure-hugging and skimpy outfits while dancing and gyrating around a stripper pole.
“She’s back and more powerful than ever!” the caption on the new video reads. “This is her moment! And you? What is yours?”
Earlier this month, Gisele Bundchen shared a photo of herself doing yoga on a beach.
She wrote, “Being healthy is more than a clean diet and exercise. It’s about our attitudes, emotions, beliefs, thoughts and actions.
When life gets challenging always remember that the sun rises everyday bringing a new opportunity for us to try again and do better.
“It can get intense out there and we can get easily distracted by the noise. Awareness is key. What energy you are nurturing?
“Remember, we are the co-creators of our own reality, what we believe we create!”
Bundchen certainly appears to be living her best life since the breakup of her marriage.
