General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Amanda Setton (Brook Lynn Quartermaine) may have leaked a major story clue. Setton dropped a hint that could point to Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) shocking betrayal, so let’s talk about all the action.
GH fans know Brook Lynn is sitting on a huge secret since she hasn’t told Chase that she had a baby with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) when she was a teen.
Brook Lynn is also hiding that news from Dante – and neither of them knows as much as Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer), who realizes Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) is their son all grown up.
This is turning into a messy, intricate web of deception, so there are plenty of ways this storyline could play out. However, Amanda Setton did hint at one aspect of the story in a new interview.
After Setton praised Dominic Zamprogna as an actor and talked about how much she loves their scenes together, she suggested Dante and Brook Lynn’s drama is just getting started.
Amanda Setton then mentioned Chase might be an option when it comes to spilling the adopted baby beans to Dante.
“We’ll see what happens in terms of story, but the fact that he doesn’t know yet, and she hasn’t told him yet, and, ‘How is he going to find out?’ Will she be the one to tell him? Will Chase be the one to tell him?” Setton said.
Of course, Chase can’t divulge what he doesn’t know!
That presumably means at some point, Chase is indeed going to find out Brook Lynn had Dante’s baby and will have to decide what to do about that.
It’s interesting since GH writers have been playing up the bond between Dante and Chase as partners as well as friends.
Chase blabbed to Dante about Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) being the lead suspect in Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) case, so he’s definitely got loose lips.
Could this turn into a situation where Chase just can’t keep something so huge from Dante?
Will Chase go against Brook Lynn’s wishes and tell Dante that she had his child over two decades ago?
No matter how it all goes down, it sounds like Chase will learn this baby shocker and struggle over whether to keep the secret from Dante.
