General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) will get a dramatic rescue, so Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will likely team up to save this prisoner.
Deadline confirms that Emma Samms will be reprising her role as Holly Sutton this October, so viewers will finally get the next chapter of her story.
When we last saw Holly, she was being held captive following a convincing plot to fake her death.
Robert believes Holly is dead and gone, but some new clues should surface that ultimately change his mind. Perhaps Anna will play a role in bringing those clues to light.
Anna is currently investigating Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and trying to learn more about his shady connection to Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).
As Anna eventually digs deeper for Victor’s secrets, it could lead to some Holly shockers.
Holding Holly hostage would definitely be a move in Victor’s wheelhouse, so there’s a good chance he’s the villain behind her captivity.
If Holly wound up at the same facility as Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) once upon a time, she might’ve been the mysterious female prisoner that fans heard screaming before her transfer.
Regardless, it makes sense for Anna to pick up on a trail that leads to Holly. Once that happens, Anna can get Robert involved for a classic GH caper.
It’ll be fun to watch Robert and Anna potentially join forces on a plan to save Holly. One way or another, Holly has to get out of the hostage situation she’s stuck in.
Robert may get a hero moment with an assist from Anna once they put the puzzle together. It’ll be interesting to see what sets up Holly’s rescue and how she might seek revenge in the aftermath!
Are you eager for the Holly storyline to heat back up? Do you think Victor is responsible for Holly’s faked death and time in captivity?
As a reminder, General Hospital spoilers say Emma Samms will return as Holly Sutton starting this October, so stay tuned!
