GENERAL Hospital star Jacqueline Grace Lopez has admitted that she didn’t see her firing coming.
Fans of the soap want the show to re-hire her as she posts an emotional goodbye.
Jacqueline, 39, shared a video to her Instagram on Wednesday.
“Not gonna lie, this goodbye hurts. I think because I didn’t see it coming. That and when you spend almost two years with this group, you start to feel like part of the fabric,” she wrote.
“I’m so grateful to Frank for asking me back. I am grateful to everyone I got to tell stories with, both in front and behind the camera. This cast and crew work so hard and have taught me so much. Jobs come and go, but it’s the people you miss. I’m definitely going to miss this bunch.”
“GH FANS!!! My heart is so full. Especially fans that embraced Blaze’s journey as a gay woman and formed a community around each other as a result: Y’all got me through some moments. I poured myself into this story because I knew it was going to matter. I just didn’t know how much,” Jacqueline went on.

“Ultimately, my joy in this work is to help people feel seen. And for that reason alone, this chapter of Blaze was an absolute gift. It feels so sudden, but I have to trust in timing. Heading out of Port Charles with nothing but gratitude. Thank you @generalhospitalabc.”
Jacqueline played Blaza, AKA Alison Rogers, on General Hospital since 2022.
She shared a video of her outside in the parking lot of the studio.
Jacqueline then recognized her co-workers by posting pictures of them and her together, including crew and castmates.
She even posted a video of a man speaking in the background and after he finished Jacqueline burst into tears.
‘I DON’T LIKE IT’
Fans did not like that Jacqueline wasn’t coming back to the soap.
They blasted the producers of GH in the comments.
“Ohhh nooo you’re not coming back? Are they not going to follow the story of how good her career will be and if she comes back to Kristina? No. What is wrong with the writers and director and the creators? They took Spencer out, then Finn and now you? I DON’T LIKE IT,” one fan wrote.
“Ohh man I didn’t know you were leaving the show. What a bummer one of my favorite parts and reasons I picked GH back up was the relationship between Blaze and Kristina. What a bad way to end that,” said another.
“Absolutely gutted. I had stopped watching for a while and Blaze and Kristina brought me back,” asked a third.
