Gabriella loves doing pilates on the reformer. “It’s the best thing I’ve found for my body,” she told Women’s Health Australia. “I find that it’s kind of meditative when I do it, it’s not just, ‘Oh I’ve got to go work out now,’ it’s something I actually really enjoy. Ideally, I like to do reformer two to three times a week. That makes me feel great. And on the days I’m not doing it, I don’t feel like I need to exercise but if I do, it’s just something like a gentle walk. At one stage I was overdoing it and trying to go every day, just because I loved it so much, but I think my body actually resisted that and it just felt like a bit too much, so I pulled it back, which is better for my body.”
Gabriella is all about supplements. “I take fish oil tablets, Floradix for iron, and magnesium,” she revealed to Body + Soul.
Gabriella prioritizes self-care. One of the things she does? “I’ll usually get a massage at least once a month to release tension. I find it helps a lot with lymphatic drainage too,” she told Body + Soul.
Gabriella also likes to turn up the heat. “I like to sauna after workouts, I haven’t tried ice baths yet - but all my friends swear by them so I think that’s next on the list to try,” she told Body + Soul.
When it comes to how often she works out, Gabriella lets her body dictate. “I listen to my body. My work schedule is all over the place so I fit in workouts where I can, and when I’m exhausted, I just let my body rest,” she told Body + Soul.
“Mental health is so important to me,” Gabriella told Vogue. “When I’m stressed or tired, I turn off my phone and have a magnesium salt bath to relax, light some candles and read in bed. The more I stay on top of my physical health—eating well, exercising, drinking enough water—the easier I find it to stay in a good place mentally.”
