Former UFC light heavyweight contender Anthony “Rumble” Johnson has passed away at the young age of 38.
According to MMA journalist Ariel Helwani Johnson died on Sunday after “battling an illness” for quite some time

Last year, Johnson revealed that he was dealing with health issues.
“Really wish I could go into detail about how ill I truly am. Just know I need as many prayers as I can get and I’ll see you in 2022 God willing. Never been this afraid of anything in my life but I’ve remained strong with the support of friends and family.”
Johnson famously fought Daniel Cormier twice for the UFC light heavyweight title and has notable wins against Glover Teixers, Ryan Bader, and Alexander Gustafsson
