Boston Calling Music Festival has announced who will be joining them on Memorial Day weekend for three days of music and celebration at the Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston, Mass. The headliners for the event include Foo Fighters, The Lumineers and Paramore, who will take the stage on May 26, 27 and 28, respectively.
Along with the renowned acts topping the bill of the event, 50 performers, including 20 who have personal ties to Bean Town, will perform at the annual event. The event will feature Alanis Morisette’s first show in Boston since 2012, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the Queens of the Stone Age, The National, Bleachers, Niall Horan, The Flaming Lips, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Mt. Joy, Maren Morris, Noah Kahan and many more.
Emerging artists set to round out the event’s massive lineup, which has been fine-tuned since the festival’s debut in 2013, including Chelsea Cutler, LÉON, Fletcher, 070 Shake, Teddy Swims, Joy Oladokun, The Linda Lindas, The Beaches, Brutus, Genesis Owusu, The Aces, to name just a few.
As for acts that came up just a hop-skip and a jump from the festival’s location, the hometown performers include Neemz, Q-Tip Bandits, GA-20, Juice, Alisa Amador, Mint Green, Blue Light Bandits, Ali McGuirk, Coral Moons, Actor Observer, Workman Song, Brandie Blaze, Couch, Little Fuss, Najee Janey, Summer Cult, Sorry Mom, and Chrysalis.
