Trace Lehnhoff talks Flipping Out

Almost exactly 14 years after his firing was aired on Bravo’s Flipping Out, Trace Lehnhoff is giving an update on his relationship with former boss Jeff Lewis.

Trace starred on Flipping Out for three seasons between 2009 and 2011 while working as an Associate Designer for Jeff Lewis Design.

Jeff fired Trace during an August 2011 episode after it was discovered that Trace was using company time to work on personal projects. THR reported at the time that it was the season’s most-watched episode.

Trace, who now works as an interior designer and also an OnlyFans star, opened up about where he stands with Jeff today.

“Hi Flipping Out fans!” Trace wrote in an Instagram Story on Tuesday (August 5) in response to a question about their relationship today.

“I haven’t talked to Jeff. No reason or story here. We just didn’t stay in touch. Gage [Edward] and I randomly ended up being neighbors years ago so and reconnected,” he continued.

Trace said, “I learned so much from JL and he treated me like a part of his family. You guys always ask about weird stuff and it was nothing like that. Really grateful to him and I always respect him.”

Trace‘s first celebrity client was thanks to the show!

“Actually, my first client after working for him was Mila Kunis who was a big fan of the show and she was the main reason I decided to start my own business – back in 2011! I met her on vacation in Mexico and did two houses for her,” he said.

Trace recently defended his decision to start baring it all on OnlyFans alongside his fiance.
