Today, Fleet Foxes announced they’ll return to the road for a tour across North America this summer. The itinerary includes three previously announced shows with My Morning Jacket–marking the first time the two bands have ever shared the stage–making for 25 performances in total.
“Our shows last summer were by far the best of our career and we can’t wait to do it again in a few months,” said Fleet Foxes’ Robin Pecknold in a press release. “It’s an honor to bring this music to life with and for everybody and we hope to see you there. With love and gratitude.”
Fleet Foxes will kick off their tour at the Agora Theater in Cleveland, Ohio, on June 13. From there, they’ll continue to tour across North America, making stops in cities like New Orleans, Orlando, Fla., Birmingham, Ala., New Haven, Conn., Indianapolis, Ind., Tulsa, Oka., and more. On select dates, the ensemble will enjoy support from New York-based singer-songwriter, Uwade. The tour will conclude in Portland, Ore. on Aug. 24, though the venue is yet to be announced.
While they travel, Fleet Foxes will perform songs from their beloved catalog, including their 2020 Grammy-nominated LP Shore, along with the rest of their songs which were captured and released as a book titled Wading in Waist-High Water: The Lyrics of Fleet Foxe.
Presale tickets for the headlining summer tour will be available starting Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 10 a.m. local time, with a general onsale starting Friday, Feb.24 at 10 a.m. local time.
