The first trailer for Tim Allen’s The Santa Clauses just debuted and brought with it a shockwave of nostalgia. The Santa Clauses is a new miniseries premiering on Wednesday, November 16 starring Tim Allen in a reprisal of his role as Scott Calvin. It is set to be one this Christmas season’s hottest TV releases.
It has been 16 long years since Tim Allen appeared as Scott Calvin in The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, the third installment of The Santa Clause series. In that time the world has certainly changed a lot and so has Scott Calvin’s life.
First Trailer For The Santa Clauses Brings All The Nostalgia Back
Many confused the new Disney Plus miniseries The Santa Clauses as a movie, given the franchise’s past. The miniseries will run for six episodes with Tim Allen as Scott Calvin appearing in all six and Ashlan Rowan appearing as ‘Security Elf’ also appearing in all 6.
As you’ll see in the trailer, the premise is Scott’s getting old, approaching 65 years old, and realizes he needs to find a suitable replacement as Santa Claus:
