BILLY Ray Cyrus’ wife, Firerose, has spoken out after audio of the country singer bashing his family members leaked online.
Audio of the Achy Breaky Heart singer lashing out at his wife and calling daughter Miley Cyrus, as well as other family members, names made its rounds on social media.

Firerose, 37, addressed the controversy on Instagram, giving an update on her wellbeing.
“This week has been monumental in many ways and I’m so appreciative and thankful for the outpouring of support,” she said online.
“There are so many great experts, books & resources on healing.”
The Australian performer continued, “I promise there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. Keep educating yourself.”
She tagged Dr. Ramani Durvasula, a clinical psychologist and author who specializes in narcissistic abuse.
Her statement also tagged several Instagram accounts focused on narcissism.
Firerose is currently divorcing Billy Ray, 62.
The couple tied the knot back in October 2023.

AUDIO BACKLASH
Leaked audio featured a man, who sounded like Billy Ray, arguing with Firerose about being late to an event.
A source said the event was a Nicki Minaj concert, according to People.
Billy Ray was invited to perform at the show in Tennessee.
“It’s 9:15, you idiot. I needed to leave two hours ago,” the man said in the clip.
“No, you didn’t. You can still leave and get there in time,” Firerose replied.

Billy Ray got engaged to singer Firerose in 2022 and they got married in 2023.
They do not have any children together.
In May 2024, Billy Ray filed for divorce from Firerose, accusing her of cheating on him.
In the audio, Billy Ray appeared to tell Firerose, “Shut the f**k up,” and called her a “f**king selfish b***h.”
“If you had just left it the f**k alone, now I’m really f**king p***ed , once again showing you will not listen,” the male voice continued.
He added, “I don’t think you’re real smart, I’ve changed my mind on that s**t. That I think you are is a selfish f**king b***h. That’s what you are.”
“Please stop screaming at me,” the voice believed to belong to Firerose pleaded at one point in the conversation.
“What a dumb ass [you are] … ’cause you have to know I will not tolerate that s**t. You just f**ked up…f**k you. You know better than that. F**king idiot,” the male voice continued.
Billy Ray released a statement on social media addressing the leaked audio on Wednesday.
“Hell yeah, I was at my wit’s end. As every day went by, I started realizing something was wrong. And that’s before I knew she was a fraud,” he said in his statement on his Instagram Story and through his representative.
“I just knew something wasn’t right. That was before I knew she was David Hodges’ ex-wife. That’s before I knew her parents’ last name,” he continued.
The country singer claimed “everything I thought I knew about her, was a lie,” and alleged that Firerose “was trying to take over my career, my life and usurp the Cyrus name for her own gain.”

In another audio clip obtained by The U.S. Sun, the musician appeared to mention his feud with his daughter Miley, 31, while speaking in the third person.
“Everyone knows that devil’s a skank,” the Old Town Road singer, who, per one source, was referring to Miley, whom he’s been feuding with since his relationship with Firerose began.
In a text exchange in February with his manager and publicist, Scott Adkin, Billy Ray also took a shot at his ex, Tish Cyrus, 57.
A screenshot of their conversation, obtained by The U.S. Sun, showed Billy Ray saying of his former wife, “She is a liar … a w***e…and a cheat. Complete skank. Scum of the Earth. A fraud.”
He also compared Tish to Lindsay Lohan’s mom, Dina, who has made headlines over the years for her legal troubles.
Billy Ray said that Tish “Makes Deanna [six] Lohan look like Mother Theresa.”
His attorney, Rose Palermo, responded to The U.S. Sun’s request for comment.
The attorney stated that Firerose is trying to “litigate her case in the press.”
He also cited court filings, in which Billy Ray alleged that he was “vocally frustrated” with Firerose during their marriage after he uncovered her “true motives for marrying him.”
Billy Ray and Firerose split recently over Billy Ray’s alleged treatment of his spouse.
Meanwhile, Billy Ray has accused Firerose of being unfaithful and withholding personal details, including who she was married to before him and that her maiden name was actually her ex-husband’s last name.
