South Korean dream-pop act Parannoul teamed up with Philippines cloud rap and indietronica artist Fax Gang for a new album. Their collaborative LP, Scattersun, is due out June 12 via Topshelf. Listen to their new song “Lullaby for a Memory” below.
Co-written entirely through text chat over the past year, Scattersun is a fully collaborative album between the two artists. Including “Lullaby for a Memory,” the record spans eight tracks and two guest features: Mudd the Student on “Wrong Signal” and Agatka on “Ascension.”
Parannoul released their most recent record and third full-length album, After the Magic, last year. They’ve previously worked on one other collaborative release: 2022’s Paraglow with Asian Glow. Parannoul also released the joint album Downfall of the Neon Youth with Asian Glow and Sonhos Tomam Conta in 2021, on which all three artists trade off songs.
