Father John Misty will reissue his beloved second album, I Love You, Honeybear, to mark the LP’s 10th anniversary. Appropriately arriving on Valentine’s Day (February 14th), the album will be available as a single vinyl LP paired with a digital-only companion release of demos that were initially released on cassette in 2015.
The digital companion piece for the reissue will also include a solo performance of Nirvana’s “Heart Shaped Box,” which was initially recorded for SiriusXM during the album’s original press run. The project marked a breakthrough moment for Josh Tillman’s work under the name Father John Misty and is included in our list celebrating the Top 100 Albums of the 2010s. Pre-orders are ongoing.
