Known collectively as MomTok, the cast found themselves in heaps of drama online before managing to land their very own reality TV show.

The first series of the show mainly chronicled on Taylor Frankie Paul when she revealed she would be divorcing her husband after discovering he had participated in “soft swinging” sessions with Taylor accusing other wives of being involved.

The women, who are connected to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, left fans gobsmacked with their group swinging antics with one of the wives saying during the first few moments of the eye-popping show: “It just turned into… this whole group is swinging with each other.”

Another of the MomTokers added: “No one is innocent, everyone has hooked up with everyone.”

Amidst the chaos, the show has now been handed a second series with production set to start as early as next week, according to TMZ.

All seven of the show’s MomTokers – Taylor Frankie Paul, Demi Engemann, Jen Affleck, Jessi Ngatikaura, Layla Taylor, Mayci Neeley, Mikayla Matthews, and Whitney Leavitt – are all poised to return, as per the outlet’s report.

The show became Hulu’s number one unscripted premiere this year – reportedly overtaking long-standing reality juggernaut The Kardashians, known for being one of TV’s most popular global shows.

When the show debuted earlier this year, fans were left branding it “deliciously unhinged” as a result of its content.

After the series dropped onto streaming platforms, one stunned viewer wrote on X: “Every clip of #SecretLivesOfMormonWives is deliciously unhinged! Safe to say I will be tuning in!”

In one episode, star Demi Engemann has also spoken openly about how she takes drugs with her husband Brett in the bedroom.

Demi says on the show: “Ketamine. It has been the biggest tool that I have used to strengthen my relationship.

“Everyone I talked to they’re like, ‘We’re kind of struggling [and] things are getting a little bit dull.’ Go do ketamine with your spouse.”

After the series trailer dropped in August, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints released a statement.

It said: “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, like other prominent global faith communities, often finds itself the focus of the attention of the entertainment industry.

“Some portrayals are fair and accurate, but others resort to stereotypes or gross misrepresentations that are in poor taste and have real-life consequences for people of faith.

“While this is not new, a number of recent productions depict lifestyles and practices blatantly inconsistent with the teachings of the Church.”
