WIN
The Worldwide Independent Network (WIN) has promoted former Unión Fonográfica Independiente higher-up Noemí Planas to CEO. Additionally, Partisan Records’ Zena White has been elected chair, with the AIM’s Gee Davy, the Belgian Independent Music Association’s Geert De Blaere, GoDigital’s Jason Peterson, and Sub Pop’s Tony Kiewel joining the board.
Thirty Tigers
Thirty Tigers has elevated seven-year team member John Moser and five-year company veteran Ale Delgado from project manager positions to senior project manager roles.
Next, the Nashville-based indie distributor and management firm has promoted three-year staffer Micki Windham to senior production manager, upped Sydney Clancy (who signed on with the company in 2020) to production coordinator, and named more than five-year employee Alex Ramsay to independent retail sales and marketing manager.
Finally, Thirty Tigers has formally announced the hiring of Kayla Ganz (formerly with Naxos Music Group) as director of digital sales and streaming and Zack Hallcroft (who’s returned after a stint with CDA Entertainment) as project management coordinator, besides the promotion of artist manager Lauren Caudle to project manager.
YMU Music
YMU has promoted former Ultra Records head of digital Dani Chavez to senior marketing manager.
Wixen Music Publishing
Wixen has hired industry vet Jon Pikus as VP of A&R and business development.
Warner Music Andes
Warner Chappell Colombia’s Daniel Mora is replacing Maria Montejo as MD of Warner Music Andes and will oversee operations in Peru and Colombia. Execs intend to announce Mora’s own replacement “soon.”
Range Media Partners
Former WME electronic music head and partner Joel Zimmerman has become a partner in Range Media’s music division.
Parlophone
Warner Music’s Parlophone Records has promoted eight-year Polydor marketing director Jack Melhuish to general manager. Plus, longtime WMG team member Grace O’Neill has been upped to head of radio, and Sam Palm (who’s been with Parlophone for about 30 months) is now head of insight.
Parlophone has also brought on Arina Logacheva (previously with Universal Music), Molly McNulty (formerly with Kobalt), and Believe’s Seb Smith as senior A&R managers. Lastly, Jason Ngimbi has joined as junior A&R manager from BMG.
Qobuz
Qobuz has tapped jazz professional Christian McBride to serve as its newest “Artist-Approved Sound spokesperson.” In the role, the eight-time Grammy winner is poised to “work closely with the platform to create specially curated playlists, videos, and other content.”
BMG
BMG has promoted former UMG higher-up Nitsa Kalispera to EVP, global supply chain.
