Brent, and his design work, have appeared in dozens of magazines, including People, Harper’s Bazaar, Domino, and Architectural Digest.

He hosted two seasons of the Emmy Award-winning show, Home Made Simple, which was broadcast on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN Network.

In 2017, he joined Living Spaces, a furniture retail chain, for a series titled Living Spaces Presents Behind the Design.

In 2020, Brent made his Netflix debut on Say I Do, essentially a wedding version of Queer Eye.

The series features three experts: Brent, the designer, Thai Nguyen, the fashionista, and Gabriele Betaccini, a chef and cuisine professional.

The eight-episode series follows the trio as they help individuals surprise their partners with a dream wedding in less than a week.

Brent – and his design skills – have also been featured on The Drew Barrymore Show, Good Morning America, Today, and The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Bobby Berk quits Queer Eye after 6 years and admits ‘it has not been an easy decision to be at peace with’ in new post

Brent’s most successful television shows, however, have been collaborations with his husband, Nate Berkus.

The duo appeared on the TLC show Nate & Jeremiah by Design from 2017 to 2019, and on HGTV’s The Nate and Jeremiah Home Project, which premiered in 2021.

Brent is relatively active on social media, and has separate Instagram accounts for his personal life, his design firm, and his online shop, Atrio.

In February 2024, Brent published The Space That Keeps You, which he describes as “not just a study of beautiful interior design; it’s an emotional design book that explores what gives spaces meaning.”

“Through candid conversations with nine individuals and families varying in backgrounds, lifestyles, and geographic locations, Jeremiah reveals how and why the spaces we inhabit come to feel like they truly belong to us—the memories, emotions, and stories that shape what home signifies.”

“Just like Jeremiah himself, readers will leave this book with a newfound appreciation for the places that connect and shape us.”

When will Jeremiah Brent officially replace Bobby Berk on Queer Eye?

Jeremiah Brent is set to join original hosts Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown, Tan France, and Antoni Porowski in the show’s upcoming ninth season.

The hit show’s ninth season is set to start filming in the spring of 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Brent will join the group as they “assist a fresh crop of heroes with their fine-tuned expertise in style, grooming, interior design, culture, and food and drink,” as reported by Netflix.

A premiere date has not yet been released, though the show will likely air in the last few months of 2024 or early 2025.

Brent will replace series regular, and a Fab Five original cast member, designer Bobby Berk.

After starring in eight seasons of the hit reality TV makeover series, Berk announced his departure from the show in November 2023.

He revealed the shocking news in a lengthy Instagram post.

Addressed to “the Queer Eye Community who have become family to [him],” Berk said that it was a difficult, but “necessary” decision.

“It’s with a heavy heart that I announce that season 8 will be my final season on Queer Eye,” he captioned the post.

“It’s not been an easy decision to be at peace with, but a necessary one.”

“Although my journey with Queer Eye is over, my journey with you is not. You will be seeing more of me very soon.”

“I love you all so so much and I’ll meet you all in Nola for one final season,” he finished, referencing the show’s eighth season.

He signed off with the hashtag, #foreverthefab5.

In January 2024, Berk revealed additional details about why he left the show in Vanity Fair.

He called the show “the most amazing gift,” and said that being a part of the Fab Five has “been a life-changing moment.”

“I’m leaving something that is a huge part of my life. Even though it’s my decision, it still wasn’t an easy one,” he said.

Berk explained that the cast had originally signed a contract guaranteeing at least seven cycles of filming.

After filming two season in New Orleans back-to-back, Berk – and the rest of the cast – thought they were finished.

“We thought we were done. Mentally and emotionally, I thought we all moved on.”

“I know I did, and I started planning other things,” he revealed.

Netflix, meanwhile, decided to renew the series for a ninth season, and offered the cast new contracts.

Berk decided not to sign, but the rest of the Fab Five decided to move forward with their new contracts in tow.

“And with only one of us not coming back, Netflix felt [it] could recast one person,” Berk said.
