Supergrass have announced a tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut album, I Should Coco. The 10-date leg takes place across the United Kingdom next year and will mark the first time the British band has ever played the album live in full. Check out Supergrass’ complete list of tour dates below.
To break the big news, Supergrass joined The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X where they discussed the album’s importance and joked about needing to up their fitness plan to give fans the high-energy show they deserve. “It’s an album really special to us,” said singer Gaz Coombes. “We thought why not celebrate that anniversary before we’re all too old to play those songs because their all really fast songs. And my voice is really high in all of them.” Watch the full clip of their appearance below.
After forming in 1993, in Oxford, England, Supergrass released six studio albums during their original run, beginning with I Should Coco. That LP went platinum, thanks, in part, to its massive single “Alright.” Supergrass broke up in 2010, but reunited in 2019 for a handful of live shows in the ensuing years, including a set at the 2022 Taylor Hawkins tribute concert at Wembley Stadium.
