REAL Housewives of Atlanta alum Kenya Moore’s ex-husband Marc Daly’s New York City restaurant has shut down, The U.S. Sun can confirm.
Southern comfort eatery Soco in Brooklyn officially closed on December 31 after 15 years in operation.

In new photos, the restaurant appears empty inside, with just a bright orange “restaurant for lease” sign in the windows.
Marc quietly announced the shutdown on his Instagram in late December.
“What a ride! It was an amazing run, but like all good things, it must end,” he wrote.
“Goodbye, Brooklyn. You will always be my hometown!
“It is with a full heart that I announce the closure of Soco. After 15 years of serving our wonderful community, it’s time for me to explore a new adventure in media, so I move onward and upward.
“I want to express my deepest gratitude for the loyal support and cherished moments shared within those walls. It has been an incredible journey.
“Thank you for being a part of Soco’s NYC story. I will carry the spirit of Brooklyn with me, as I focus on my new venture in the South.”
It is unclear if Marc has opened a new restaurant in the southern US.
POINT OF CONTENTION
Marc’s NYC restaurant responsibilities led to disagreements with Kenya, who is based in Atlanta.
“Initially when we had the baby, it was great. He was there for every single doctor’s appointment, every ultrasound, every scare, we were 90 percent together. He was a very supportive husband during that time,” Kenya told People after the couple’s first separation in 2019.
“Marc opened up two new businesses and is opening up another. It was frustrating for me that he kept opening businesses in New York, but listen, I want him to be successful and that’s how he feeds his family. So, I couldn’t be selfish.
“But if you’re living in two different places, you have to be together during the times you are in the same place; either you’re both in New York and you’re both in Atlanta.
“And when we’d be in the same place, we weren’t always in the same place. So with the businesses, the distance, and the baby, it just became hard for us to figure it all out.”

MESSY MARRIAGE
Kenya, 54, and Marc, married in 2017, welcomed daughter Brooklyn Doris Daly in 2018, and first separated less than a year later.
They got back together in 2020, but split for good in 2021.
Kenya filed for divorce in May of that year, and it was not finalized until December 2023.
After a very bitter final split, it appears Marc and Kenya are getting along again lately- with some fans even suspecting they quietly got back together.
Earlier this month, Kenya posted a photo of Brooklyn with her dad, after previously claiming he never sees her.
And earlier, Marc thanked Kenya for supporting him amid the sad news of his restaurant’s closure.
Marc may now be supporting Kenya, as the reality star was fired from RHOA due to her controversial decision to reveal sexually explicit photos of rival Brit Eady at her Kenya Moore Hair Spa launch event in June 2024.
And as The U.S. Sun previously reported, Kenya’s salon appears to be abandoned, despite her insistence that it’s still in operation.
From April 30 to May 1, no one entered or exited the salon, despite the salon’s sign claiming it was open for clients and/or the public on those days.
“We are open and servicing clients when we are open,” Kenya responded to the report.
