Mogwai have announced a new album: The Bad Fire is the Scottish post-rock veterans’ eleventh, and their first produced by John Congleton. It comes out on January 24 (via Temporary Residence Ltd.). Featured on the album is last month’s “God Gets You Back” and today’s new song, “Lion Rumpus.” The latter comes with a video featuring Glasgow native Lawrence “Larry” Wilson walking dogs in New York. It was directed by Antony Crook, who helmed the Mogwai documentary If The Stars Had A Sound. Watch it below.
Mogwai will begin their tour in support of The Bad Fire in February. The tour stretches into May.
