LEGO’s Fender Stratocaster set is going on sale for Amazon Prime Day.
The 20% off deal sees the LEGO set priced at $95.99 — far below its regular retail price of $119.99.
The Stratocaster construction set is based on a design by LEGO enthusiast Tomáš Letenay that won the company’s Ideas contest in 2020. The final product then went on sale in fall of 2021.
The 1,074 piece set features six strings, posable tuning pegs, a tremolo arm, an accompanying amp and foot pedal, and a folding stand on which to display the guitar. It also includes separate red and black bodies for the guitar, so you can swap out for the color of your choice.
Federico Begher, VP of Global Marketing at the LEGO Group stated upon the release of the set: “The Fender Stratocaster guitar is iconic and has been at the heart of so many incredible songs over the years. We know many of our fans are passionate about music and we hope they enjoy the attention to detail in the not only guitar but also the accessories, such as the strap and the amp.”
It would appear the guitar is a hit with LEGO builders, as well. As of this article, the set has an overwhelmingly positive 4.9 stars based on over 2,300 ratings on Amazon.
