But not as upset as Molly-Mae is after she found out her boxer-fiance “cheated on her multiple times”.
The influencer, who shares Bambi, one with Tommy, shared a heartfelt Instagram post on Wednesday, in which she revealed that the couple were ending their relationship after five years together.
She said that she “never imagined” that the couple’s seemingly picture-perfect romance would end this way and was “extremely upset” about the breakup.
Molly likely can’t look at the £600,000 engagement ring given to her by Tommy last year without feeling incredibly emotional, so just what is she going to do with it?
What will Molly-Mae do with her engagement ring now?
Rosie Lillis, founder of jewellery PR brand Rosie Lillis Communications, said: “[Molly-Mae] might look to keep it and hand it down to her daughter or alternatively…have it made into a new ring that she can wear on another finger.
“A number of the jewellers that we work with are seeing an increased demand for ‘divorce rings’ whereby clients are repurposing their old engagement rings into new pieces of jewellery – be it another ring, a necklace or a pair of earrings.”
But is it easy to take an engagement ring and turn it into something entirely different?
Rosie said it was “very easy”.
She added: “The diamonds or precious gemstones in the ring can be removed and set into a new design.”
Lindsay Ferguson, Marketing Director at The Diamond Store agrees with the idea of Molly-Mae transforming her tainted diamond into something new.
She explained to Hello!: “With her engagement ending, we predict that she will repurpose her ring to create something new, fresh and liberating, such as a pendant necklace, or sell it to recoup some of its value and purchase another piece of jewellery equally as sentimental.
“It’s also a possibility that Molly-Mae may want to keep the ring and pass it down to Bambi as a sentimental gift that speaks to their mutual love for their child.”

Expert’s at Nelson’s Law said: “This is not just the case for engaged couples but also for couples that are getting divorced.
“The same general rule applies that the engagement ring was an absolute gift and should therefore be kept by the receiver unless there was a condition to the giving of the ring.
“If there are no pre-nuptial agreements and you are not able to resolve financial arrangements upon divorce or seperation, it is possible to ask the Court to adjudicate on the issue.
“Although given the high costs of litigation this should always be the last resort.”
So it really depends on whether Molly-Mae and Tommy had an agreement in place as to who keeps the engagement ring if they split.
Has Molly-Mae’s engagement ring increased in value?
There is a widespread misconception that diamonds are rare and become more valuable over time.
But the vast majority of diamonds are not an investment as their resale price is lower than their retail price, diamond experts at My Gemma say.
In fact, when selling a diamond you can expect to receive 25% to 50% of its retail price. And this price drop for second-hand diamonds can come as a shock.
However, “truly rare diamonds” do increase in value.
The experts noted they had to be “rare fancy coloured diamonds such as red, blues or pinks of exceptional quality and/or carat weight can increase in value”.
The same applies to exceptionally rare, high-quality, large white diamonds with perfect colour, cut and clarity grades.
This is because incredibly rare diamonds are in high demand and limited supply, meaning that they will appreciate in value.
With Molly-Mae being so incredibly popular, her 7-8ct diamond could fetch more than the original £600,000 price tag.
When did Molly-Mae and Tommy get engaged?
Tommy got down on one knee and proposed to Molly-Mae in July 2023.
The boxer chose a romantic cliff side in Ibiza, decorated with hundred of roses to ask Molly-Mae to marry him. He even flew in her favourite singer to serenade them during the moment.
He presented her with a stunning 7-8ct oval cut diamond in a solitaire setting said to be worth an estimated £600,000.
Oval cut diamonds are said to represent uniqueness and individuality.
They are the second most popular diamond shape after round and it’s easy to see why – due to their elongated design, they appear much larger than other cuts.
Molly-Mae went onto reveal how Tommy set up a fake event so she wouldn’t be suspicious about where they were going.
In an Instagram Story, she explained: “Just before we were leaving for a ‘brand event’ we’d both been invited to…
“Fake invites, fake emails, notes in the hotel room from the brand, everyone playing along so unbelievably well… I’ve never known a surprise to be pulled off like this.
“I was COMPLETELY and utterly fooled.
“It was only when we pulled up to the ‘event and Tommy jumped out of the car and ran off and I was handed a letter that I realised all was not what it seemed,” she wrote.
