Friko Announce Tour, Share New Cover of Radiohead’s “Weird Fishes / Arpeggi”: Listen

Friko tour poster

Friko—the duo of vocalist and guitarist Niko Kapetan and drummer Bailey Minzenberger—are heading out on tour this year. The Chicago indie rockers will make their way across North America this summer and then depart for Europe in the autumn. Friko are announcing this news alongside a faithful cover of Radiohead’s In Rainbows classic “Weird Fishes / Arpeggi,” complete with emotive strings. Listen to that below.

After performing in their hometown of Chicago on June 14, Friko will perform at major music festivals like Lollapalooza, Newport Folk Festival, and Fuji Rock before joining Royel Otis as openers across a North American tour. When that leg concludes in Vancouver, British Columbia, on October 22, Friko will fly overseas in November for their first European headlining tour. Find their complete list of tour dates below.

Friko released their debut album, Where We’ve Been, Where We Go From Here, back in February, via ATO. It includes the songs “Crimson to Chrome,” “For Ella,” “Where We’ve Been,” and “Crashing Through.”
