Longtime yo-yo lover Faye Webster has announced the Faye Webster Yo-Yo Invitational, a one-day extravaganza featuring 12 of North America’s top yo-yo pros. The yo-yo masters will show off their most dazzling tricks in a no-rules exhibition, on September 28, at the Zellerbach Auditorium in Berkeley, California. Webster will host the event and play a short solo set that might feature some surprise guests. Check out a poster for the exhibition below.
Faye Webster is currently touring behind her latest album, Underdressed at the Symphony, which came out in March. She is a noted yo-yo enthusiast, and has discussed her passion for the yo-yo craft in a number of interviews. She’s also released yo-yos as merch for her albums Atlanta Millionaires Club and I Know I’m Funny Haha.
