Dry Cleaning have announced a 2023 world tour in support of their forthcoming sophomore LP Stumpwork. They’ve also shared the latest single from the LP. It’s called “Gary Ashby.” Listen to the new song below, and scroll down for the band’s full itinerary.
“Gary Ashby” is “a lament about a pet tortoise, escaped as a result of family chaos,” as the band stated in press materials. They added: “We wrote it in December 2020, one of the first new songs after the New Long Leg session.” The new track follows lead single “Don’t Press Me” and the subsequent “Anna Calls From the Arctic.” Stumpwork arrives October 21 via 4AD.
