What’s on Sam’s Club’s New Grab & Go Menu?
Sam’s Club has had a Café similar to Costco’s beloved food court since 1997. Menu items include hot dogs, pizza, pretzels, yogurt cups, and even a brownie sundae.
However, this new Grab & Go section features all-new fresh deli and bakery options that are packaged and ready to go.
Members will be able to purchase the following prepared food items in single servings, which are also sold in the warehouse’s grocery section in larger servings:
- Caesar Salad
- Mediterranean Pasta Salad
- Chicken Salad Croissant
- Cobb Salad
- Sushi
- Tuxedo Bar Cake
- Plus, a variety of cold beverages
These items are cheap, too: Starting at $2.74 for the Chicken Salad Croissant and $3.17 for a single slice of Sam’s Club’s beloved Tuxedo Bar Cake.
The new Grab & Go section is designed so that you can simply walk up and pick out your food items, then pay using the Scan & Go feature within the Sam’s Club app. You can even order ahead of time through the same feature, allowing you to skip the line and pick up your food even faster.

Why Shoppers Are Loving It
Sam’s Club members are already raving about the new menu options on social media.
Shoppers shared their excitement on the unofficial Sam’s Club Members page on Instagram.
“LOVE that they’re doing this!” one member commented.
“Dare I say that I love getting the Mediterranean pasta salad and the tuxedo cake more than the hotdog/pizza from the cafe 🤭😍” replied another.
“I can eat the Mediterranean Pasta Salad allllll day long! I love it when its offered in a single serve size,” the owner of the account wrote.
Costco vs. Sam’s Club Competition Heating Up
This latest move is further evidence of how Sam’s Club is coming for Costco’s loyal but wavering fan base.
As we recently reported, Costco members have been getting increasingly frustrated with the warehouse’s insanely long checkout lines.
Some have called them “awful” and “chaotic” in comparison to Sam’s Club’s tech-savvy purchasing options via their app.
““It’s a nightmare just to walk in Costco whereas Sam’s I was able to actually walk down the main aisle,” one shopper said. “The scan as you go option is more convenient for me and faster for Sam’s. All around the vibe of the store is much calmer and less chaotic too.”
